In this passage, we understand that the church is the ‘bride’ of Christ. And when He returns, He is looking for a bride without “spot or wrinkle”. Now, the commitment to a bride is a serious thing.

Oftentimes, our actions with the Lord are more like a girlfriend than a bride! We’re not on “a date”; we need to be getting ready for the Marriage Supper of The Lamb!
